Acknowledging the historic racial divide between the east and west side of Kansas City, Explore Troost is an initiative to preserve and amplify its rich community roots located on the street of Troost. Explore Troost  celebrates African American culture and aims to create a narrative of unity and hope.

KC Art on the Block

Following the summer of 2020 resurgence of the Black Lives Matter movement, KC Art on the Block was launched as a grassroots effort to create six BLM street murals in Kansas City. Each mural was designed by a local African American artist with hundreds of volunteers showing up to paint this beautiful message across the streets of the city. 

Project Strategy /

1. Quickly create a mark that captures the spirit of the BLM movement.
2. Apply our graphic design mojo to the funding proposal to ensure our fundraisers have confidence in our cause.
